- Available to any employee who works 30 hours a week

- 60% Employer paid benefit

- Benefit amount is 1 times your annually salary to a maximum of $50,000
Voluntary Life Insurance

- Option to cover spouse and child
Dental Insurance
- 100% employee paid
- Available to any employee who works 30 hours a week.

Cafeteria Plan
A premium conversion plan that allows employees to pay for their portion of insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars.
Short Term Disability
- Employer paid benefit (after 3 months)
- 60% of your basic weekly earnings to a $450.00 maximum benefit per week.
Long Term Disability
- Employer paid benefit (after 3 months)
- 60% of your basic monthly earnings to a $10,000 maximum benefit per month.
Retirement Plan
A retirement savings plan that allows employees to make pre-tax contributions to multiple investment options. Eligible employees will begin participation on the first day of employment. GWS will contribute a percentage based on previous year’s profit.
Flexible Spending Plan
Medical and Dependent Care Accounts – plans that allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses and dependent care expenses.
Legal Resources
A national legal services benefit plan that provides legal counsel, courtroom representation and advice for all covered benefits.
Vacation Leave
- 10 days paid annually (accrued time available after 6 months)
- 15 days paid annually (after 10 years of employment)
- 20 days paid annually (after 20 years of employment)
Sick Leave
- 5 days paid annually (accrued time after 90 days of employment)
Holiday Leave
- Full-time employees receive 9 paid holidays.
Bonuses
At the discretion of the corporation GWS typically offers:
- Christmas bonus
- Performance-Based Pay Program under which the corporation will share its profits if financial goals are met
Educational Assistance
- 100% paid tuition & cost of related books for courses related to the job
- 50% reimbursement for approved educational courses
- "C" or better completion grade required & continued employment at GWS for one year after completion of the course(s).
Professional Registration/Societies
- Assistance in preparing for Engineer-in-Training, Professional Engineer, Landscape Architect and Land Surveyor registration
- Time off with pay for taking required examinations
- Corporation will pay for one review course, one application fee and one exam fee
- Corporation will pay for all registration renewals related to its business
- Corporation will pay for approved memberships in professional or technical societies that benefit the corporation
