GWS was involved with the studies and designs of this $35 million redevelopment of the Hutzler Building in Towson. The 2.18 acre facility had remained vacant for nearly a decade and now houses Barnes & Noble, Kinko’s, Pier 1 Imports, Bally Total Fitness Center and Hollywood Tans.
GWS was the engineer of record for the renovation and designed the parking structures as well as the Bahama Breeze restaurant. Specific design elements included surveys, site and utility design, pedestrian and traffic circulation studies, ADA compliance and entrance design. Also, special considerations were given to vertical clearance and limited maneuverability of trucks.
